Organizations
Join or create an organization, and manage its people, projects, groups, roles, invitations, sign-in options, activity, and settings.

- For a pending link invitation, click Copy link to share it again, or Revoke to cancel it.
Browse organization roles
Roles is a read-only page showing every role in your organization and what each allows. Organization roles decide who can invite or remove people, change roles, edit settings, and create or delete groups and projects.
Create and manage groups
A group gives a set of people the same level of access to a project. Create a group with a role, then connect it to a project to hand that role to everyone in the group.
Create a group
- Open Groups and click to open the Create a new group window.
- Enter a name and choose a role. A group's role can't be changed later, so pick carefully.
- Click Create.
Add or remove people from a group
- Open the group and go to Members.
- Click Add Member, then search for the person by name, email, phone, or ID.
- To remove someone, click Remove next to their name.
Connect a group to projects
- Open the group and go to Projects.
- Under "Available Projects," click Assign next to a project to give the group access.
- To remove access, click Remove next to a project the group already has.
Rename or delete a group
- Rename: Open the group's Settings tab, edit the name, and click Save Changes.
- Delete: Open the group's Settings tab, click Delete Group, and type the group's name to confirm. This removes everyone from the group and can't be undone.
Create and manage projects
A project is a shared space where a team works together.
Create a project
- Open Projects and click to open the Create a new project window.
- Enter a name and a description.
- Under Groups, choose which groups should have access. You need exactly one group with the Owner role.
- Click Create.
Creating a project also sets it up in Foundry. The project appears in the Foundry console as soon as it is created, but the associated infrastructure may take up to approximately 7 minutes to become fully available. During this time, some features, such as model deployment and model availability in Playground, may not be ready yet. If the Foundry setup fails, the project won't be created; try again once the issue is resolved.
Invite people to a project
- Open the project and go to Invitations.
- Click Invite to project.
- Choose Email or Create invite link, then confirm.
If the person is already an organization member, no project invitation email is sent. Add them to a group with access to the project instead.
Rename or delete a project
- Rename: Open the project → Settings → General, edit the name or description, click Save changes.
- Delete: Open the project → Settings, scroll to the danger zone, click Delete project, type the project name to confirm.
Find your organization and project IDs
Every organization and project has an ID. The Inference API requires both on every request, as the x-organization-id and x-project-id headers.
- When you create one — the ID is shown once the organization or project has been created. Copy it then.
- For one that already exists — select the organization or project, then copy its ID.
Review organization activity
The Activity tab shows a history of everything that's happened in your organization.
Filter the activity list
Use the Category and Event dropdowns to narrow things down, and the date fields to look at a specific time period.
Set up Single Sign-On
The Single Sign-On tab lets you connect your organization to your company's login system, so your team can sign in through that instead of an email code.
Connect your company's login system
- Open Single Sign-On and click Add SSO connection.
- Choose the type your provider uses (your IT team can tell you which one), then click Continue.
- You may be able to start from a preset for common providers like Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, or Okta.
- Fill in the details your provider gives you and confirm.
Manage organization settings
The Settings tab holds your organization's general info and its most serious actions.
Update your organization's name or description
- Open Settings, edit the name or description, click Save changes.
Let people join automatically by email domain
- Open Settings and find Auto-Provisioning.
- Add an allowed email domain, then click Add.
- Choose which roles new members should get by default, then click Save roles.
Set a default project and group for new members
- Open Settings and find Default Project & Group.
- Choose a project, then choose one of its groups.
- Click Save.
Leave or delete the organization
- Leave: Open Settings → danger zone → Leave organization, type the confirmation text, and click Leave this organization.
- Delete: Open Settings → danger zone → Delete organization, type the confirmation text, and click Delete this organization. Everyone loses access and this can't be undone.
